The day after 'Thanksgiving Day' is called the Black Friday. The name comes from the fact that retailers sell the left over gift items (the gift items left over from the sales on or before the Thanksgiving day) and goods at dirt cheap prices, people flock the stores to get their hands of the products before they are gone. Because the retailers open the stores very early ( 4~5 AM) on this day, since it would be dark (Black) at the hour the stores open. Hence, this day is called the Black Friday.
